I personally didn’t know the reasons for that, and many will get surprised to know that we in Ras Al Khaimah didn’t have an airport !!! But yes we didn’t have an airport for so long time now !!!
But here we are again and the lunch of RAK Airways, and the future of aviation in RAK
RAK Airways, the UAE's fourth carrier, will make its inaugural
flight to Beirut on Thursday, November 29. The airline has also announced the
launch of services to Colombo, Sofia and Dhaka and tickets are now on sale for
all four destinations; RAK will initially offer three flights a week to Beirut,
Colombo and Dhaka and a weekly flight to Sofia. India, Tanzania, Qatar and Nepal
are among future planned destinations.
